The Marsh Adventures

Generations Lost

If you have not already read the first book in the Marsh Adventures, Of Times and Places...STOP!!

If you have read it, then you may proceed...spoilers from Book One contained below -

Originally I had planned to have this one ready by Christmas 2024, as the prequal to The Marsh Adventures:  Of Times and Places, however, it seems time is slipping away on me and I have two other books shouting at me to be next:  A Band of Dogs and Napoleon and Elizabeth.  We will all have to wait and see which one plays out as next in line after The Sun Also Sets and The Message.

In the meantime, The Marsh Adventures:  Generations Lost, remains in draft form.  What I can tell about the book is this -

It is of course the back story to Of Times and Places.  Queen Rubyspot rules over the marsh, both animal and insect.  The numbers and types of dragonflies and damselflies are vast.  There are many other interesting plants and insects...and maybe even animals, that will be covered in this book.  Learn the history of both Rubyspot and her reign, of the Dragon Hunters quest for asylum, and by their own proof why they cannot be trusted.  Learn of a legend even older than Rubyspot and the Dragon Hunters (this will be covered in Book 5, Meganeura).

There are new heros and new villians, and we finally get to meet Cisto and discover who and what he really is.  All culminating to an already known final battle with the Dragon Hunters.  Will things unfold as the legend has been told? maybe, maybe not?  It's time to set the legend straight...

Queen Rubyspot stood on the shore of the marsh in all her iridescent beauty as the glimmering morning sun rose behind her.  The Queen shouted with a voice that knew no fear:  "Behamouth!  I summon you to come forth, for you have taken one of my own and you must now account for it..."
